Herman den Blijker Snijplank Houtvezel – Zwart 44 × 32,5 cm – Vaatwasserbestendig – Hittebestendig tot 170 °C

This cutting board is made of compressed pine wood fibers. The fibers are compressed under high pressure and temperature into a compact, pore-free material — hard enough to last for years, yet gentle on your knives.

At 44 × 32.5 cm, you have plenty of room for meat, fish, and large cuts when cooking for a lot of people. With a thickness of 0.6 cm, it lies flat on the countertop and takes up hardly any space in the cupboard.

Because the material is non-porous, the board can simply go into the dishwasher and does not absorb color from your ingredients. It does not warp or crack, like a solid wood board can, and with a heat resistance of 170°C, you can just as easily place a hot pan on it.
